We were there on a Saturday night and it was quiet. The wagyu (3000 yen for 3 slices) was absolutely amazing, as were both the mochi buta (1200 yen for 6 slices) and iberico pork (1900 yen for 6 slices). The dashi broth and thinly sliced cabbage that complete the shabu shabu set were equally fantastic. We panicked for a bit w/o an English menu - but that's when you know the place caters to locals and not tourists) - but a gentleman who looked to be the owner speaks great English and explained everything on the menu down to how shabu shabu should be eaten. Not cheap (32,000 yen for 7 pax but a great little place for a truly authentic and satisfying shabu shabu meal.

Of course the meat is the main, but I am impressed by the dashi and cabbage. Lunch is very crowded, so we recommend that you visit at 11am.
